Hillary Clinton Makes Weekend Campaign Stops In Ventura, Santa Barbara Counties

Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made a weekend swing through the South Coast over the weekend, using a stop in Oxnard to swing away at Donald Trump.

During her appearance at Hueneme High School Saturday she said Trump doesn’t have the experience to do key things like protect the country, and unify America. Clinton focused on Trump instead of Democratic rival Bernie Sanders during her Ventura County appearance. A new CBS News poll has Clinton and Sanders within two percentage points of each other.

After speaking in Oxnard, Clinton met with local Democratic leaders at a private event in Santa Barbara Saturday afternoon before leaving the region.
