Seven Men Arrested In Prostitution Sting Operation On South Coast

An effort to crack down on prostitution on the South Coast led to the arrests of seven men.

Simi Valley Police Department detectives conducted a sting operation.  They placed an online ad, and when men called, they talked to a female undercover officer who made arrangements to meet them.

When the men arrived at the location, they found an undercover arrest team waiting for them. Six of the seven men were from Ventura County. They’re facing charges of solicitation of a prostitute.
