Ventura County Woman Arrested For Arson Attack On Trailer Home

A Ventura County woman has been arrested on an arson charge in connection with a fire which heavily damaged a travel trailer being used as a home.

The blaze occurred early on the morning of March 17th, on the 5000 block of San Juan Avenue in Oxnard. No one was hurt, but the blaze gutted the trailer. Oxnard Fire Department investigators determined it had been intentionally set, and opened an investigation.

It led to this week’s arrest of Krystal Rodriguez of Oxnard, for arson of an inhabited building, as well as a drug charge. Detectives aren’t talking about the motive for the attack.
