Police say the shooting deaths of a husband and wife in Ventura County over the weekend now appear to be the result of a murder/suicide.
Autopsies were completed on the Oxnard couple yesterday. Detectives say the autopsy results and evidence at the scene indicate Saul Lemus shot to death his wife Sinia at their Barrymore Drive home, and then killed himself. Investigators say there were no past reports of domestic violence in the home.
They leave behind two teenage girls. The Oxnard Peace Officers Association set up a “Go Fund Me” account so the community can help can help the girls, and contributed $2,000 to get it started.
