A scuba diver died while on a dive trip in the Channel Islands.
It happened just after 2 p.m. yesterday, near San Miguel Island. A man went into cardiac arrest. People with the man started CPR, and paramedics were flow to the island by a Santa Barbara County helicopter.
But, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The helicopter brought the man’s body back to the mainland. His name hasn’t been released.
