Man Gets 10 Year State Prison Sentence For Prostitution Operation In Ventura County

A Central Valley man has been sentenced to more than 10 years in state prison after entering guilty pleas to human trafficking, and pimping charges in Ventura County.

Ventura County Sheriff’s Department detectives received a tip that a 15 year old girl from Arizona was being forced to work as a prostitute in the county. The investigators tracked her down to a Ventura motel.

They arrested Phillip Dwayne Lowe. They say the 33 year old Fresno man was running a prostitution business involving the teenage girl and two adult women.
