14 Arrested On South Coast In Prostitution Sting Operation

More than a dozen men were arrested in a prostitution crackdown on the South Coast.

Oxnard Police conducted a sting operation targeting men soliciting women online for sexual acts. Detectives posted an online ad on a commonly used website for prostitution activities. Men who called the number, and solicited illegal activities were directed to come to a specific location by a female undercover officer.

The men were then arrested. 14 men, including 10 from Oxnard were arrested on solicitation for prostitution charges.
