South Coast School District Selects New Superintendent

A South Coast school district has hired a new Superintendent.

Dr. Angelica Ramsey will head the Pleasant Valley School District. She is coming to the Camarillo area district from Northern California, where she’s been the Associate Superintendent of Agricultural Services for the Santa Clara County Office of Education.

Ramsey will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of RaeAnne Michael, who is retiring this summer after nearly four decades with the district.

The Pleasant Valley School District has 11 schools, and is the parent of two charter schools.
