Burglars Hit Three Dozen Vehicles In Santa Barbara County Community

There’s a warning in one Santa Barbara County community this morning about auto burglaries, after it’s been hit by more than three dozen break-ins since the first of the month.

The burglars have targeted vehicles in the Winchester Canyon, Fairview Avenue, and Langlo Ranch areas of Goleta.

Many of the burglaries involved unlocked vehicles. Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s detectives say the thieves are looking for easy opportunities. The investigators say don’t leave valuables in plain sight, lock your vehicle, set the its alarm, and park in a garage if you have one.
