Two people have been arrested in connection with a double murder investigation in Santa Barbara County, with the sheriff saying the crime was the end result of a drug deal going wrong.

Enzo Marino Rastell and Jasper Pieter van der Meulen were fatally wounded last month in Goleta.  The two were shot in a car parked near Hollister Elementary School.

Sheriff Bill Brown says the two 19 year olds were dealing marijuana when they were shot.  Detectives, deputies, and SWAT team members served search warrants at four locations in the Santa Barbara area Thursday leading to the arrests in the January 7th shootings.  Four people were arrested.

Two of the arrests appear to be connected to the killings, while the other two were on unrelated charges.
