(Santa Barbara County Parks Division photo)
Summerland's Lookout Park has had a major makeover, adding additional recreational facilities.

A makeover of a popular oceanfront park on the South Coast is complete.  Summerland's Lookout Park now has expanded recreational facilities.

The east end of the park just off of Highway 101 was renovated to add trails, picnic areas, with BBQ's, and even some concrete ping pong tables.   The parking lot was also improved.

The park is owned and operated by Santa Barbara County.  The $875,000 project was funded with a combination of state grants and local funds.
