Detectives now say the man arrested for the murder of a Ventura County woman was her boyfriend, and believe the killing with the result of a domestic disturbance. Simi Valley Police were called to the 5400 block of Los Angeles Avenue Thursday morning. An injured woman was stopping people, and telling them her daughter was dead in an apartment.
Officers arriving at the scene say they found the body of a 31 year old woman who had been fatally stabbed. Her name hasn't been released yet. They also found her boyfriend, Euren Balbuena in the apartment. The 29 year old man was arrested without incident.
The victim’s mother, who reported the attack, is reported to be in stable condition at a hospital. The say Balbuena had also attacked her.
