Small Oil Spill on Central Coast

Santa Barbara County was the scene of a small crude oil spill Tuesday night.

There was a small onshore oil spill on the Central Coast. Santa Barbara County firefighters were called to the Mission Hills area, near Lompoc Tuesday night by reports of a chemical smell.

They found a crude oil spill estimated at around three barrels of oil. Most of it was contained to a small area off of Calle Lindero Road.
