A number of college and public school campuses in Ventura County will be closed Thursday, due to concerns ranging from closed roads and air quality to the ongoing issue of public safety power outages.
California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks and Cal State Channel Islands in Camarillo have cancelled all classes and activities.
Moorpark College will also be closed. Ventura College’s main campus will be open, but its East Campus will be shut down for the day.
More than a dozen public school districts have also announced they have cancelled classes for today. Some of the biggest include the Simi Valley and Conejo Valley School Districts. You can find a link to the official list here: www.vcoe.org
