Library Closed For Weeks By Southern Santa Barbara County Flooding Reopens

Recovery efforts for flood ravaged Southern Santa Barbara County include some big things, and some smaller ones as well.

One of those smaller, yet important things is the reopening of Montecito’s Library.

It was closed for nearly three weeks. The library wasn’t damaged, but the facility on the 1400 block of East Valley Road was in an evacuation zone.

The library returned to normal operating hours when it reopened for the first time Tuesday.
