KCLU's 102.3 FM signal in Santa Barbara is back on air

After being intermittently off the air because of the recent storms, KCLU's 102.3 FM signal is back on the air. Brief interruptions are possible.

Update: 11 a.m. 1/18/2023:

KCLU’s 102.3 FM signal in Santa Barbara is back on the air. However, ongoing electrical work as Southern California Edison repairs downed power lines could result in brief interruptions of our signal over the next few days.

Update: 11:45 a.m. 1/13/2023:

Due to recent storms KCLU is having intermittent problems with our signal on 102.3 FM in Santa Barbara.

Because of a lack of power at our transmitter site, extremely limited access due to road conditions on Gibraltar Peak and the additional rain expected this weekend, 102.3 FM will likely go off the air Friday and be off for several days.

However, you can still listen to KCLU in Santa Barbara on 1340 AM, listen online at www.KCLU.org, or listen anywhere using the KCLU App.

Update: 9:20 a.m. 1/11/2023:

KCLU’s signal on 102.3 FM in Santa Barbara is off the air due to the recent storms. Because we cannot access the site due to road conditions on Gibraltar Peak, the outage could be for a few days.
