KCLU wins Regional Murrow Award

KCLU has now won more than two dozen regional, and two national Edward R. Murrow Awards.

KCLU News has won a 2022 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award from the Radio Television Digital News Association.

KCLU won a Region 2 (California, Nevada, Hawaii) award in Small Market Radio for Sports Reporting. KCLU’s Lance Orozco did a story called Southern California Home To Pro Football’s Rams, Chargers…and Dallas Cowboys?

The story takes listeners to the Dallas Cowboys summer training camp, which has been taking place on and off since the 1970’s in Ventura County, attracting Cowboys fans from around the country.
