New COVID-19 Case Count Lowest Single Day Figure Of Year For Central, South Coasts

Less than 50 reported

Friday was one of the best days this year as far as the number of new COVID-19 cases on the Central and South Coasts is concerned, with less than 50 reported.

There are 48 additional cases in the Tri-Counties. The total includes 20 in Ventura County, 16 in Santa Barbara County, and 12 in San Luis Obispo County. The overall number of cases in the three counties since the start of the pandemic stands at just under 136,000.

There were two additional COVID-19 related deaths in the region, with one in Ventura County and one in Santa Barbara County.
