The Central and South Coasts are posting some of their lowest new COVID-19 case numbers in months.
173 additional cases were recorded Wednesday. Ventura County reported 93, Santa Barbara County 41, and San Luis Obispo County 39. The total number of cases in the region since the start of the pandemic now stands at just under 131,000.
Nine more COVID-19 related deaths were reported Wednesday in the Tri-Counties. Ventura County had eight, and Santa Barbara County one. As we approach the anniversary of the first shutdowns, we’ve had 1582 deaths in the region.
