The Governor is visiting the Central and South Coasts Tuesday, stopping by some vaccination sites where he said that unlike other states, California will reopen carefully and deliberately.
Governor Gavin Newsom visited San Luis Obispo County Tuesday afternoon, where he lauded the county’s vaccination efforts. He noted that the county has been putting more than 90% of the vaccination it's received into arms.
He addressed the issue of what vaccine you should get, with three now approved for use by the FDA, saying that when it’s his turn, he will take whatever is available
The governor says while we are moving towards more reopenings with COVID-19 numbers improving, it’s taking place cautiously. He says unlike other states, California isn’t going to change its methodical reopening process.
