COVID-19 Case Count On Central, South Coasts Poised To Pass 80,000 Mark

The Central and South Coasts are close to 80,000 COVID-19 cases total since the start of the pandemic.

Just over 1900 additional cases were reported Thursday.  Ventura County had 985, Santa Barbara County 512, and San Luis Obispo County 412. The current overall total stands at just under 79,500.

12 additional deaths were reported in the Tri-Counties Thursday, with eight in Ventura County and four in Santa Barbara County.  We’re now at 593 coronavirus related deaths in the three counties.

Ventura County has had 313 deaths, Santa Barbara County 185, and San Luis Obispo County 95.
