Central Coast College Announces Plans To Continue Online Classes For Spring Semester Due To COVID-19

A Central Coast college has announced it will keep its classes mostly online for the Spring, 2021 semester.

Cuesta College officials say they are taking the step because of ongoing COVID-19 safety concerns.

A small number of classes are taking place in-person because they have lab components, or other necessary elements which can’t be done remotely.

In those cases, safety protocols like daily health tests, the use of masks, and social distancing are being used.

College officials say while they are looking forward to the full reopening of the campus, they are prepared to continue the online class process as long as necessary to ensure the safety of staff and students.
