Central, South Coast Congressman Exposed To COVID-19; Tests Negative, But Must Self-Quarantine

A congressman serving the Central and South Coasts is in self-quarantine after being exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

Democratic Congressman Salud Carbajal of Santa Barbara says he immediately got tested after getting word of the exposure, and it came back negative.

Carbajal had been planning to return to the district, with a news conference on renewable energy which was originally set for today.  The congressman is staying in Washington, D.C., where he will work from his home there for 14 days while self-quarantining.
