Ventura and Santa Barbara County officials say businesses on the Central and South Coasts are doing a good job of getting onboard with coronavirus safety measures.
In Ventura County, officials say businesses in the region are stepping up to operate safely. The state has had teams of inspectors doing coronavirus safety checks.
They’re reported that of 2800 businesses in the county checked, only three were cited, and five warned. And, in the most recent spot check of 500 businesses, no citations were issued.
Santa Barbara County officials say they reached a milestone this week, topping 4,000 businesses which have attested that they have successfully completed safe re-opening requirements. The county has put together a team of ambassadors helping businesses with the re-opening process.
