Coronavirus Death Toll Grows To 114 On Central, South Coasts; Number Of Diagnosed Cases Tops 14,500

Three more coronavirus related deaths have been reported on the Central and South Coasts, bringing the region’s total to 114.

Ventura County has had one additional death, and San Luis Obispo County two.  Ventura County now stands at 71 total deaths, Santa Barbara County has had 32, and San Luis Obispo County is now up to 11.

The total number of diagnosed coronavirus cases in the three counties now tops 14,500.  Ventura County has 6893, Santa Barbara County 5931, and 1689.  Most of those who have been diagnosed with the virus in the region have already recovered.

All three counties in the region remain on the state’s watch list for not meeting all of the reopening guidelines.
