Coronavirus Relief Campaign In Santa Barbara County Raises Nearly $4 Million Dollars

A coalition of Santa Barbara County non-profits reports that it’s raised nearly four million dollars for coronavirus relief efforts.

The Hutton Parker Foundation, the Santa Barbara Foundation, and the United Way of Santa Barbara County set up what they are calling the COVID-19 Joint Response Effort.

It’s raised $1.5 million dollars for grants to families, and individuals in need.  So far, more than 1500 households have been helped.

The campaign has raised close to $1.6 million dollars to support the efforts of non-profits working to meet community needs.  More than 100 non-profits have been assisted so far through the campaign.
