Number Of Deaths On Central, South Coasts Connected to Coronavirus Now Tops 100

The number of coronavirus related deaths on the Central and South Coasts now tops the 100 mark.

Ventura County is up to 62 deaths, Santa Barbara County has had 32, and San Luis Obispo County added a seventh.  The region’s total now stands at 101.  Most of the deaths are older adults with pre-existing health conditions.

Meanwhile, we had 405 new diagnosed coronavirus cases reported in the three-county region Tuesday, for an overall total of 12,448.

Ventura County has had a total of 5955 cases, Santa Barbara County 5124, and San Luis Obispo County 1,369.  Most of those diagnosed with the virus have already recovered.
