220 New Coronavirus Cases Reported On Central, South Coasts; Death Toll Climbs To 94

The number of new coronavirus cases on the Central and South Coasts continues to surge, with 220 new cases reported.  There have been 10,408 diagnosed cases in the region.

Ventura County has had a total of 4884 cases, Santa Barbara County 4412, and San Luis Obispo County 1112.  Most of those diagnosed with the virus in the region have already recovered.

Three additional deaths have been reported, bringing the area’s total to 94.  Ventura County had two more deaths, for a total of 56.  Santa Barbara County added one, for 32.  And, San Luis Obispo County has had six.  Most of those who died were older adults with underlying health conditions.
