Confirmed Coronavirus Case Count On Central, South Coasts Tops 9000; Death Toll Up To 88

The number of diagnosed coronavirus cases on the Central and South Coasts now tops the 9000 mark.  The regional total currently stands at 9094, with 256 new cases reported Friday.

Ventura County has 153 new cases, pushing its total to 4246. Santa Barbara County reported 75 new cases, hitting 3943.  And, San Luis Obispo County's latest total is 905 cases.  Most of those infected have already recovered.

There have been 88 coronavirus related deaths in the region. Santa Barbara County is up to 32 deaths, with two more reported Friday.  Ventura County has had 53 deaths, and San Luis Obispo County four.
