Central, South Coast Health Officials Say With More Reopenings, Safety Precautions Essential

With progress continuing in efforts to contain coronavirus on the Central and South Coasts, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties are getting ready for the next stage of the reopening process.

Health officials say they are excited to be moving into the next phase of the reopening process.  But, it’s still going to be a very different experience when you go to a restaurant, or store because of coronavirus safety protocols.

Ventura County Public Health Officer Dr. Robert Levin says the reopening process only works if people continue to follow social distancing, and other coronavirus safety measures.

He says it’s still too soon, for instance to have family or friends not living with you coming over as guests.
