Confirmed Coronavirus Cases On Central, South Coasts Tops 700

The number of diagnosed coronavirus cases on the Central and South Coasts now tops 700.

There are 718 cases in the region.  Ventura County has 317, Santa Barbara County 284, and San Luis Obispo County 117.  We still stand at 13 deaths in the region, with ten in Ventura County.

It's still unknown how long the crisis will keep businesses and schools closed, but reports indicate we could get some ideas this week.  Governor Gavin Newsom says he plans to release details of a timeline for ending stay at home orders.

Ventura County Public Health officials plan to announce a timeline later this week.  They say the existing order set to expire this coming weekend will definitely be extended.
