Coronavirus Preparedness On The Central And South Coasts; A Health Expert Answers Common Questions

Coronavirus has created a wave of questions for people about things like how much of a danger it poses, and how to prepare for it.

Health officials on the Central and South Coasts say they’ve been swamped with calls by people seeking information.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco talks with one of the experts about some of the most common questions people have about the virus.

Ventura County Public Health Officer Dr. Robert Levin looks at issues like the use of masks, which groups are at highest risk, and whether it's still safe for people to attend group events.

Lance Orozco has been News Director of KCLU since 2001, providing award-winning coverage of some of the biggest news events in the region, including the Thomas and Woolsey brush fires, the deadly Montecito debris flow, the Borderline Bar and Grill attack, and Ronald Reagan's funeral.
