The Conejo Valley Interfaith Refugee Welcome Team has been helping Afghan refugees with everything from household supplies to the job search.

From collecting furniture and household supplies to donating gift-cards, the Conejo Valley Interfaith Refugee Welcome Team has been helping refugees from Afghanistan to start their new lives here.

Chris Soltow from the organization says that they've been offering help when it's needed, as well as collecting donations for furniture.

"Any help we can give them on a personal level, driving them, helping them find a job," he told KCLU.

"Their worries are, for the most part, missing their family and friends and trying to start a new life in a new culture," he said.

Monetary donations can be made via this link:
