The 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush, did not have much to say about the impeachment proceedings when he spoke in Santa Barbara.
Bush made a special appearance at the Rosewood Miramar Tuesday night on behalf of the Turner Foundation of Santa Barbara.
The Foundation builds low-income housing and apartments for those in need.
Bush was a guest of the Turner family.
The event was tightly controlled, with no cell phone or camera use allowed.
The President flew on a private jet back to Texas after the event.
