A 4-acre fire is theatening structures in the Newbury Park area of Thousand Oaks.
The Potrero Fire has caused the closure of Portrero Road from Wendy Drive to Hidden Valley Drive.
Fire officials are monitoring the moderate moving brushfire and say that there is very little wind affecting the spread of the flames.
Helicopters are using water from nearby Lake Sherwood to combat the blaze.
