$2 Million Raised By Fundraising Concert On South Coast Goes To First Responders

Another $1.3 million in proceeds have been handed out from the Ash Bash concert aimed at relief following the Montecito Mudflow and Thomas Fire disasters.

Some of the $2 million dollars raised has been distributed already.

The money, handed out Monday at Fire Station One in Santa Barbara, will pay for emergency equipment for area fire departments, counseling, and other support services.

It will also go towards college scholarship funds for children of first-responders.

The Ash Bash concert was held earlier this year on a ranch in Summerland. It featured superstar performers including Katy Perry, David Crosby, Kenny Loggins, and Dishwalla.

Comedian Dennis Miller was the host of the show, joined by Ellen Degeneres.
