The Ventura County Interfaith Community Presents a Discussion of Fire and Water in Religious Symbolism and Ritual
Fire and water are ubiquitous symbols in world religions. Together and separately, they can symbolize a life giving force, destruction, purification, and inspiration. On March 18th at 7:00 PM, the Ventura County Interfaith Community will explore the use of these elements in three religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Unitarian Universalism.
This event will take place at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church (1251 Las Posas Rd., Camarillo, 93010). Speakers will include Rabbi Michael Lotker (Judaism), Rev. Dr. Michael Anderson (Christianity) and Rev. Dr. Betty Stapleford (Unitarian Universalism).
As with all of our events, this event is free and open to all, so please share freely with friends and family you feel may be interested.
