Cantor Michael Stein, Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, producer and actor, who has performed at the White House and on Broadway, will be in Ventura to discuss “The Power of Music in Enhancing Spirituality”. The event will take place on Monday, January 10th, from 3-5 pm at Congregation Am HaYam.

Cantor Michael combines his rich Jewish heritage based in New York’s Conservative movement with a successful career in the music and entertainment industries. Cantor Michael, who was a contestant on The Voice, Season 7, has been the Hazzan at Temple Aliyah in Woodland Hills for over 20 years. The event is possible through a grant from the Pacific Southwest Region of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
