This event has 5 classes. September 2nd, 9th, 23rd, 30th, and October 7th, 2023 — (couldn't schedule on your recurring page, for our classes are not every consecutive week)

The Conejo Valley Amateur Radio Club, CVARC, is holding a Technician Level Amateur Radio License course. The FCC Technician license is the gateway to the world of Amateur Radio (often called ham radio), from the local VHF and UHF bands to worldwide on the "shortwave" bands. The course is held on 5 Saturday mornings on September 2, 9, 23, 30, and October 7, from 8:00 am to noon. The location is the Community Room at the East County Sheriff Station, 2101 East Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks. A testing session for licensing is also being held October 15th. There is no fee for the course. Contact Keith Elliott at W6KME@cvarc.org to sign up for the course. We'll be using the ARRL Ham Radio License Manual Fifth Edition, available at https://home.arrl.org/action/Store/Product-Details/productId/2003373064
