Three people were arrested in an incident in Camarillo this week.

Ventura County Sheriff’s officials say “bank jugging,” or robberies of people using ATMS, is growing.

The victims are observed using the machines and then followed home.

On Monday afternoon, authorities apprehended three Los Angeles County men who they allege watched an elderly man withdraw money, followed him home, and robbed him in his driveway. They were later arrested on charges of grand theft and other offenses.

Officials are warning people to be cautious when withdrawing cash from ATMs and not to leave the money in vehicles.
