Firefighters are mopping up a wildfire southeast of Lake Piru, near the Ventura-Los Angeles County line that prompted evacuation orders and warnings.
What's being called the Holser Fire was reported just after 1 Saturday afternoon, on the 6700 block of Holser Canyon Road.
Air tankers, helicopters, and more than 200 firefighters battled the blaze. It's a sparsely populated area, but some evacuation orders and warnings were issued. No structures were damaged. Firefighters stopped the growth of the blaze by around 5 Saturday night.
Containment was up to 67% as of Sunday night, with crews still on scene working to get full containment.
