Firefighters made a very unsual rescue in Santa Barbara County.
A horse fell into a ditch, and was at risk of slipping into a creek. It happened at around 7 Sunday night, on San Marcos Pass Road, on San Marcos Pass.
Santa Barbara County and City firefighters responded to the scene. A veterinarian sedated the horse, allowing firefighters to rescue the horse, and pull it to safe ground. The horse was uninjured.
