Ventura County man arrested after detectives say they seized more than 130 firearms

The raid in Fillmore also resulted in the confiscation of more than 100,000 rounds of ammunition.

A Ventura County man has been arrested after detectives seized more than 130 firearms and 100,000 rounds of ammunition that came from an illegal firearms business in Fillmore.

Ventura County Sheriff’s officials say that during a search of Timothy Padilla’s home, they recovered 137 firearms, including assault rifles and a machine gun.

 The 45-year-old man was charged with more than 15 different counts relating to weapons and ammunition.
