Prosecutors say the Oxnard man met many of his victims through social media or dating apps.

Ventura County prosecutors say a serial sexual predator has been convicted of attacks on five women.

Dustin Ronald Alba was found guilty in a jury trial of nine felony accounts for a series of attacks that took place over eight years from 2012 to 2020. The crimes happened in Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, and Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old Oxnard man met many of his victims through dating apps or social media. Prosecutors say the victims thought they were going on dates, but were forcibly sexually assaulted.

Alba will be sentenced on July 8. He’s facing a 111-years-to-life prison sentence.
