Maybe you saw it! A SpaceX rocket carried a payload of communications satellites into orbit from the Central Coast Thursday night.
Twenty-seven communications satellites were on board the Falcon 9 rocket.
It lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base at 6:02 p.m. The reusable first-stage booster landed on a barge off the West Coast.
