A Ventura County man is potentially facing a 480-year prison sentence after being convicted of molesting two children over several years.
Prosecutors say Marcelino Arias Arca of Oxnard committed the crimes between 2005 and 2014. The victims finally told a family member what had happened, who then reported it to police.
The 68-year-old man was convicted of six felony molestation counts in a jury trial.
Prosecutors say he had a prior molestation conviction in 1988. He’s set to be sentenced in April.
