Detectives say a ring of serial burglars have been targeting restaurants in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Five burglaries occurred in the Buellton area since July 6.
In all of the instances, the burglars forced their way into the restaurants, and focused on areas where cash was kept. Exactly what, and how much was stolen is still under investigation.
