Ventura County crime spree ends with car crash which leaves teen at bus stop dead, three others hurt

One teen died, and three others were hurt as the result of an car crash in Westlake Village. The teens were by a bus stop when they were hit by the vehicle.

Driver in deadly incident now being identified.

A string of crimes in Ventura County had a tragic ending, with a traffic collision which left a teenager dead.

The series of events started in Simi Valley, just before 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. detectives say Austin Eis stabbed an employee at the Walmart store on Cochran Street, and then fled the scene. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, and is expected to recover.

Then, Eis apparently went to Camarillo, where he was involved in a domestic dispute.

The car driven by the man crashed, and overturned by a bus stop on Thousand Oaks Boulevard, near Lakeview Canyon Road. It’s just across the street from Westlake High School.

Four teens were hit, including the 15-year-old who died.

The names of the victims haven’t been released. The Conejo Valley Unified School District released a statement saying that their thoughts and prayers are with the students, their families, and their friends.

Eis was injured in the crash, and is in the hospital. Sheriff department officials say he is facing homicide, and assault with a deadly weapon charges.
