A rocket launch planned for the Central Coast Thursday morning was aborted at the last moment.

SpaceX was set to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base at 7:29 a.m., carrying 10 military satellites. But, a computer pulled the plug just three seconds before liftoff, triggering an auto abort.

The rocket and payload are reported to be okay. SpaceX officials say the next launch window is at 7:29 a.m. Friday.
