Soggy? Yet more rain sweeps the Tri-Counties, with the South Coast getting more than the Central Coast

The major storm that’s been hitting the Tri-Counties is finally leaving the region, but not before it dropped three to four inches of rain in some areas.

As predicted, the South Coast received the heaviest rainfall. Thousand Oaks had 2.6” of rainfall, Oxnard 2.7”, Santa Paula 3", Santa Barbara 2.5” and San Marcos Pass a whopping 4.25”.

On the Central Coast, Lompoc had 1.5” of rain, Solvang 1.89', Los Osos 1.6" and San Luis Obispo 1.2"”.

Among the wettest spots from the latest storm are South Mountain in Ventura County, with 4" of rainfall, and Rocky Butte in San Luis Obispo County, which also had about 4" of rain.

The South Coast is expected to see showers wrap up Wednesday night, but the Central Coast could see some light rainfall Thursday before the system moves out of the area. After a break this weekend, another storm could arrive in the middle of next week.
